Like the word suggests, machine learning is when systems and program use the data that is collected to automatically learn and predict outcomes.
Machine learning applies artificial intelligence (AI) to give systems the ability to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed.
When configured it allows programs to access data and use it learn for themselves. Clever huh.
